In case anyone was wondering, all my cameras have full wifi strength to the router and sync module. I restarted my router also which didn't have any effect. I tried a few basic things (unplug the Sync Module 2 and plug it back in, remove a camera from the system and add it back) which didn't fix anything.

I had this problem recently, all my cameras stopped recording to USB just a few days ago. We have our clients using a Samsung Fit Plus, as they tested better than 100MB/s write speeds in a USB 2.0 port. Although the Sync Module 2 only uses a USB 2.0 connection, we have found that a USB 3.0 drive with fast write speeds is less problematic. And so far all of these drives have had less than stellar write speeds when tested. We have had Sync Module 2s fail to write to a flash drive that was working properly with it earlier. In some cases, this has taken a few days.Īt that point, format the drive to ExFAT and return to service.īlink gave us this procedure after we called them out and escalated the problem awhile back. Afterwards, permanently remove the flash drive until the app requests a subscription or USB storage. What has fixed most of these is a complete reset of the Sync Module without the USB in place. We believe it's caused by a firmware update, but have yet to nail this theory down. We're seeing this issue with more and more of our clients Sync Module 2s. Oh, their customer service will find a number of BS issues from their flip guides.
